The 50/50 raffle administered by Camp Oochigeas, is a licensed raffle by the AGCO (Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario), where individuals purchase ticket(s) for the opportunity to win 50% of the total money raised through the sale of 50/50 tickets for that York9 FC game.
The draw is done for the 70th minute of play. A unique winning number is randomly generated and issued by the electronic 50/50 Raffle System out of the numbers purchased for that particular draw.
The 50/50 raffle does not have a minimum or maximum prize amount — the prize amount is 50% of the total sales (“jackpot”) for the raffle in question. In the event that a 50/50 raffle is seeded , the total seed amount will be the minimum prize amount awarded.
The odds of winning the Prize are based on the quantity of Numbers sold during an event.
Yes. You can purchase more than one ticket per event or game. The limit is $1,000 per participant, per draw.
The winning 50/50 number will be drawn before the 70th minute of play. Once the winning 50/50 number has been drawn, you can find it and the estimated prize amount:
- Displayed on all in-venue 50/50 kiosk screens,
- Announced in game and displayed on the scoreboard,
- And found on the Camp Oochigeas website.
We are not able to contact the winner to advise them that they have won. The purchaser of the ticket with the winning 50/50 Nnumber must contact Camp Oochigeas to complete the prize claims process.
If you have the winning 50/50 number from an in-venue sale, you must complete the required winner claimant documents in person in-venue or at the Camp Ooch Downtown Office within six (6) months of the draw date. You must present your signed winning ticket (if purchased in-venue), along with two (2) forms of identification (including government-issued photo ID). The winning ticket cannot be tampered with. (We reserve the right to deny winnings if the ticket has been reproduced or changed from its original state).
