Even COVID can’t stop camp!
A lot has changed because of COVID — but the needs of kids and families affected by childhood cancer haven’t. After a year of virtual programs, we are excited to announce that we are working to bring back in-person camp programs this summer, including overnight camp, day camp and community programs across Ontario! Our medical advisory committee and task force, made up of experts in paediatric oncology and infection control, are helping guide us back to in-person programming.

A sense of belonging
Camp was probably the first place where I didn’t feel so different anymore. I was surrounded by people just like me having a great time and laughing, and it made me feel comfortable enough to just be myself and not the “kid with cancer".
